The height of your tee depends on a few factors, including the type of golf club you are using and your own personal preference. Generally, you should aim to keep the tee height at a level where the clubhead can just barely make contact with the top of the tee. It is typically recommended to begin with the ball slightly above the top of the clubhead for irons, and half the ball above the crown of the wood.
